Priceless Art - Literally

The Triton Museum of Art is a beautiful geometrical building located across the street from the Santa Clara Civic Center. It opened in 1965 and has become one of the cornerstones of Santa Clara culture. Admission is free, as are many of the special events held here, including family art days and opening receptions. The museum features work by local, regional, and national artists with an emphasis on Greater Bay Area art and artists. Outside the museum is a 7-acre sculpture garden with pristine landscaping, and it's a lovely spot to have a picnic lunch and let the kids run off some steam before or after you peruse the art inside.
