Not So Secret Garden

The campus of the Santa Clara University features 104 acres of gorgeous architecture, pristine landscapes dotted with palm trees and sculptures, and 50 buildings that include the de Saisset Museum and the Center for Performing Arts. But one of the most beloved spots on campus is Mission Gardens at the Mission of Santa Clara de Asis. Here, you can sit under olive trees that date back to the late-Mission period, fall in love under the wisteria arbor, or enjoy the scents emanating from over 400 rose bushes. And don't forget to appreciate the garden's adobe wall, which was built in 1822 and is one of the oldest remaining structures on campus.
