Located in Levi's Stadium, home of the 49ers, is the 49ers Museum, a state-of-the-art facility boasting 20,000 square feet full of more 49ers memorabilia than you can shake a goal post at. Featuring 11 gallery and exhibition spaces, the route through the museum starts at the Trending Gallery and ends in front of the Lombardi trophies, where you can relive choice moments from the 49ers' five Super Bowl Championships. And if you're not much for football but are gracious enough to tag along without complaint, you'll see plenty of football and non-football related artwork by local artists throughout the entire space and in the museum's art gallery. The art collection features portraits of many decidedly un-football-like local heroes, from John Steinbeck to Jack Kerouac.
