Lands End provides stellar views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay. Walk along the waters edge and enjoy the scent of eucalyptus trees, all the while taking in the beautiful sites of the San Francisco Bay. Keep an eye on the water because if you are lucky, you might see seals, dolphins, or whales (though, don't necessarily count on it). This beautiful walking trail through Lincoln Park is a great way to escape from the bustle of the city and take in some well needed fresh air. Perfect for kids or adults of any age, this wide and well maintained trail starts or ends at the Sutro Baths and the Cliff House on Ocean Beach. Enjoy some nature in the city and explore Lands End on you SF trip plan.
*We recommend that you drive through the Sea Cliff neighborhood on your way to the trail head. Sea Cliff is one of the richest neighborhoods in SF and has some amazing mansions (you might even glimpse a celebrity). Coming from Sea Cliff, start the hike at the north end and finish at Ocean Beach where you can grab a bite or a drink at the Cliff House.
*Also check out the Legion of Honor a fine arts museum just up the road with stunning views of the city, beautiful neoclassical architecture, and Rodin's The Thinker sculpture in the courtyard.
