Overview

Known the world over for its copious amounts of sunshine and huge number of theme parks, Orlando’s a place that takes fun in the sun to an entirely new level. It’s hard to ignore what Orlando’s known for (seeing as how it’s often hailed as the Theme Park Capital of the World): Disney World, Universal Studios Orlando, Gatorworld, Sea World, and Wet ’n Wild all pull in millions of visitors annually, and for good reason: they’re a heck of a lot of fun (for all ages, no less!). If you’re just here for one or want to visit them all, one thing’s for sure—you’ll be in for a good time.

Even if you’re here on other business (or pleasure), you might find it hard not to drop by one of the many parks, but if you manage to stay in Orlando itself, you’ll be treated to a vibrant urban city with a vibrant nightlife scene, art galleries, museums, and plenty of restaurants to keep your adventures well (and deliciously) fueled. And while Orlando’s a city that’s often overlooked for the outlying attractions, it’s a city that’s definitely worth exploring.
