The Links at Spanish Bay were designed by a team that included renowned golfer Tom Watson, and their intent was to create a true links golf course, recalling the original Scottish concept for the game of golf that was established over 500 years ago. The Links at Spanish Bay mirror the Scottish landscape with bristly grasses and wind from the Monterey coastline.
