The Kampong is one of the National Tropical Botanical Garden (NTBG) locations in Miami, Florida. It serves as the main educational center for the NTBG, hosting botany and horticulture courses for local university and colleges as well as offering courses for plant enthusiasts of all ages.
The Kampong is located on Biscayne Bay in Coconut Grove, Florida. The garden's first plantings came from Indo-Malaysia and have since expanded to include collections from Southeast Asia, Central and South Americas, and the Caribbean. From exotic fruit trees to palm trees and flowering trees, you will see flowers, trees, and plants right here in Miami that usually aren't present outside of their native lands.
