Vinyl has made a huge comeback, and Sweat is one of the favorite shops of the local scene. It was originally founded in March of 2005, only to be destroyed by Hurricane Wilma just seven months later. The store came back strong at its current location in 2007 and has been happily settled there since.
In addition to shopping for vinyl, you can attend one of any number of weekly events held at the store. Some examples include stand-up comedy, movie night, workshops and live performances. Sweat also puts on an annual block party called Sweatstock that is free to all comers.
