Pinolandia is a Little Havana take-out restaurant that's open 24 hours a day. It also features a tiny market and juice shop at the back. Try the classics: Carne asada con gallo pinto, maduro and that queso. Wash the delicious food down with out-of-this-world homemade concoction - the Pathaya or Jicaro.
Pinolandia is decorated with an abundance of knickknacks. There's restaurant seating inside, but the patio, near the oversize colorful rooster and surrounded by walls cluttered with wooden signs, is the supreme spot to consume baho, a dish of yuca, plantains, and beef steamed in banana leaves. Beer is sold only with food, and there's a limit of three.
Expect crowds during a weekday. Pinolandia accepts credit cards but there is a $7 dollar minimum for food and $10 dollar minimum for drinks.
