Also known locally as Pamela's Deli, this is the place to sample a wide range of good Chilean food. One of the specialties of the cuisine is empanadas, little fried flour bundles of joy that can be tucked full of anything from savory meats to sweet cream and fruit. But don't stuff yourself too full with these, as you'd be missing out on some excellent lesser-known Chilean delicacies -- pastel de choclo, sopa marinera, pastel de jaiba and congrio frito (Chilean-style fried fish) among them.
One thing to be aware of is that parking nearby is extremely limited and it's not uncommon to not be able to find a spot when you show up. So consider a taxi, Uber, public transit, foot power or some combination thereof if you plan to go.
