The St. James Court Art Show has celebrated artistry and craftsmanship amid the spectacular Victorian architecture of Old Louisville for better than six decades. Hundreds of thousands attend this juried arts-and-crafts showcase, held the first full weekend of October, in the St. James-Belgravia Historic District. More than 700 artists participate in the nationally known event each year, displaying and selling works that run the gamut from paintings to pottery to photography. Food vendors are part of the proceedings, too, thank goodness.
