A dark, spacious live music club featuring up and coming young independent bands, The Satellite is grungy in a good way. Formerly known as Spaceland, the first show in this space featured The Foo Fighters and Beck. That gives you a glimpse into the kind of musical offerings you'll find at The Satellite. The stage lighting is professional and moody, the dance floor is usually packed, and sometimes you'll stumble upon a show featuring arena rockers who are either getting back to their roots or slumming it for a night.
