From its enchanting lotus pond to its five acres of trails, the Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area is a fabulous park that is home to many attractions. The park boasts four playgrounds as well as a fishing lake. With two lighted baseball fields, there's usually a ball game to watch if you can tear yourself from the action on the sand volleyball court. Of course, this park is probably most famous for its hiking trails that are complemented by coastal sage scrub and other unique features of the coastal habitat. If you are in the mood for outdoor recreation, this park is worth a visit.
