One of many fabled establishments on famous Sunset Boulevard, The Comedy Store is a family-owned venue that opened in 1972 and has since seen some of the most famous faces in funny on its three stages. You can see comedy seven days a week here, but try to catch a show in on the main stage, which is beautiful with its long red curtains, flanked by art deco filigrees. Booths line the perimeter of the space, with small, intimate tables filling in the area in front of the stage. There is a standard two-drink minimum, but you can save money on admission by following the club on Facebook or Twitter.
