Situated at the mouth of the Columbia River, the North Head Lighthouse has great views of this dangerous body of water, providing a true sense of its awesome nature. You'll also be able to view the Long Beach Peninsula, Pacific Ocean, and bits of the Oregon coast from here. Although the beacon is now automated, a trip to the lighthouse is still exciting.
