Ilwaco makes a special to-do for Christmas with its famous crab-pot Christmas tree, apparently the tallest you'll find anywhere in the world, and its annual lighted boat parade. The holiday lights on the boats draw people out to enjoy the spectacular sight. The lights make a lovely reflection on the water. Attendees sing carols and share in the Christmas cheer. If you're in town, be sure to stop by with the kids because Santa and Mrs. Claus usually make a stop to enjoy the celebration too. The event is held annually the first Saturday of December.
