The Confluence Project is a series of art installations that are placed along the Columbia River System. There are four installations currently in place and two more are planned. The artworks are set outdoors and explore the confluence of culture, location, and history that makes the installations unique. Maya Lin, an artist and architect, is responsible for the installations. The works draw from specific texts from Lewis and Clark. Visitors to the region should make a point to see the outstanding finished pieces. The remaining two art installations are schedule to be completed in 2015 and 2016.
