Wildlife and Beach Life

Relax and enjoy a sheltered beach that is ideal for a variety of activities on the shore and just beyond it. The beach is located a short walk from the ferry terminal at Manele Bay and is within the Hulopoe-Manele Marine Conservation Area. There is no lifeguard on duty, but this is one of the safest beaches on Lanai for swimming, snorkeling, exploring tide pools, watching wildlife, and watersports. There are also grassy, shaded areas equipped with barbecues, restrooms, showers, and picnic tables. You can also follow the walking trail to nearby Sweetheart Rock, a famous local landmark.
