Lake Tahoe isn't really good at hiding the fact that, no matter how you look at it, it's pretty darn good looking. However, just because it's glassy blue on top and jagged mountains all around doesn't mean that under the water is as placid. In fact, the lighthouse at Rubicon Point—although considerably smaller than its seaside counterparts—spent the first part of its life warning sailors of the perils. Now, it marks a scenic spot where you can soak up some seriously stunning views of the lake. And the walk in isn't bad, either. It's a little hilly, but you'll be treated to a rocky skyline and gobs of eye candy along the way.
