Fireworks on the Lake

Feeling patriotic? Lights on the Lake is truly one of the best fireworks shows in the nation. Join thousands of others in watching this spectacular spectacle. The fireworks are launched from a barge in the lake, right off the shore from the Edgewood. Though the display can be seen all the way from Nevada Beach down to El Dorado Beach, Lakeside Beach and Edgewood are definitely the best viewing spots but you may be required to pay a cover to get in. You can view the show from a luxury yacht through Lake Tahoe Cruises or you can enjoy hanging with the locals from on a public beach, whichever fits your fancy. Either way, if you're in Tahoe during the 4th of July, you won't want to miss this incredible display that will literally light up the lake.

Utrip Tips

*Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:45PM, however, you will want to find and secure your viewing spot quite a bit earlier.
