Stunning Solitude

A half-mile long (and a pretty steep half-mile, at that), Clark Trail takes you up about 1,000 feet into spectacular South Lake Tahoe serenity and solitude. Starting just across from the Glen Alpine Trailhead and finishing at Angora lookout point, where you'll be treated to a view of Lake Tahoe that was good enough for fire-spotters for years. Sometimes you need a quick scramble up the side of a mountain to make your trip a little more special, and if that's your thing, then you'll definitely want to check out Clark Trail.

Utrip Tips

*The trailhead starts right behind a church (which is across Glen Alpine Road from the Glen Alpine Trailhead).
