A stately home hidden away in the historic neighborhood of Old Key West, this was formerly the home of an American legend, Ernest Hemmingway. It was here that he penned many of his most iconic works, inspired by the local culture and relative ease and grace of the local environment. Guided tours are available, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff is happy to answer any questions that you may have. Naturally, the venue is also equipped with a book store where you can purchase the author's works, along with a variety of other items. Wander the grounds and socialize with the 40 cats that also call the location home, many of which are the rare polydactyl (six-toed) variety and descended from Hemingway's pet cat, Snow White.
