Preserved from the age of classic theaters, this beautiful building was built in 1939 in the Streamline Moderne style and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It's not just a museum piece, however; they offer an exciting, active range of entertainers, comics and alternative movies. Come for the entertainment, but stay to enjoy the lounge. There is also a very nice store, which offers everything from tote bags and t-shirts to signed guitars from famous bands. The proceeds from the store help support the non-profit theater.
