Business and Cultural Thoroughfare

Sand, sun, and fun call global travelers and tourists to Fort Lauderdale, but there's so much to do than simply combing the beach or hitting the waves. In fact, a single jaunt down Las Olas Boulevard can turn fun play into a fabulous stay.

Created in 1913, the Boulevard has become a staple for locals and visitors alike who want to enjoy the best offerings in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. Canals, palm trees, and waterfront homes landscape the eastern section of the strip.

The 1-mile commercial stretch, however, comes alive with bars, nightclubs, International cuisine, art galleries, coffee shops, hotels, and specialty shops galore. It is quite literally Fort Lauderdale's shopping avenue, and one that can't be missed.
