Founding Families

The actual name of the architectural style used to design and construct this impressive woodland mansion is Arts and Crafts, a medium that utilized the rough materials that mimic the surrounding natural features. Dating from 1904, and one of the first homes in the area to have electricity and running water, the wooden shingles and rough stone arches blend nicely into the surrounding forest.

The home was built as a duplex to house two families, and you can see the inside of them on a private tour. You'll learn about the history of the Riordan families and how they influenced the development of Flagstaff as you admire their antique furniture and other rare artifacts.
