We’re not normally the kind of folks to recommend shopping centers, but when it just so happens to be the first planned shopping center in the United States (in a community that was designed by the architect of Beverly Hills, no less), we’re pretty sure it has to be something special. Built before the Great Depression, this wonderful slice of shopping nirvana is a must for any of you who pack extra duffel bags in your luggage in case some prime shopping sneaks up on you (or you'd planned to do a little shopping all along). And with names like Chanel, Anthropologie, Dior, and rag & bone, there’s bound to be a few places where you can fill up your extra luggage.
