This small soul food restaurant is easy to miss on busy Contra Loma, but it's worth the search. All the classics, plus some you may have never tried are here, from collard greens and fried chicken to oxtail with gizzards and catfish.
Although there's plenty of seating, they seem to rely more on take-out. If you do decide to eat in, be prepared for a wait. As the sign on the wall says, "Soul Food is Not Fast Food."
