New and Old

Newhall Community Park is a great 126-acre park bordering Galindo Creek. The creek meanders through the park, offering that bubbling spring relaxing sound that can wash away your cares and get you back to nature for a little while.

The majority of the park is unimproved and offers a great retreat from city life. Around 30 acres have been improved with ponds, children's play structures, picnic areas, bocce ball courts, and athletic fields. Pets are also welcome, especially at the Paw Patch, a secure area where dogs can exercise off-leash.
