The Fernandez Ranch was originally 7,000 acres of land that remained in the Fernandez family for over 150 years. In the early 2000s, it was purchased by the John Muir Land Trust to preserve the property and keep it as natural as possible for the enjoyment of the public.
The Fernandez Ranch features miles of multiuse trails that you can use for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. There are 1.5 miles of handicap-accessible trails, as well. You can hike the Windmill Trail to see a mid-20th century dairy farm, or head to the Whipsnake Trail to experience breathtaking views.
The Fernandez Ranch shows the original and untouched beauty of California. You won't want to miss it.
