Alhambra Creek to Briones Peak Trail offers a hike that will leave you feeling like you were plopped down in the lap of luxury. This 1.7 mile point-to-point (3.4 mile roundtrip) hike offers a great jaunt through cool, shaded groves. But it is California and the sun does beat down, so be sure to bring sunscreen and lots of water.
The trail is accessible almost the entire year, except for July and August. This moderate hike is also pet-friendly, though dogs must be kept on leash. Once you reach Briones Peak, you will be able to reap your reward and enjoy the beautiful views.
