Children and adults alike will discover everything from the natural history of the planet Earth to outer space in this one place. With established exhibitions, traveling displays and hands-on workshops, there is something for everyone. There are multiple rooms that provide exhibitions on everything from the environment of the Great Lakes to the exploration of space. In addition, the preserved Great Lakes steamship William G. Mather is available for guided tours. The Glenn Visitor Center (named after the astronaut and U.S. Senator John Glenn) has displays of space exploration. Every Saturday, there are space-themed activities. The IMAX dome theater also provides motion pictures on science.
