The Nichols House Museum is located in the 1804 townhouse that was the home of Rose Standish Nichols, landscape gardener, suffragist and pacifist. If you want to experience the domestic life of a typical family of Beacon Hill around 1900, the Nichols House Museum is the place for you.
In addition to the gorgeous structure, the museum houses fine European and American wooden furniture, gorgeous oriental rugs, art, and sculptures. In addition to the exhibits, the museum also offers lectures, programs, and special events for the community.
