The New England Holocaust Memorial is a haunting tribute to the millions of people who lost their lives. The six luminous glass towers are lit from top to bottom with steam flowing through them. The number six has a powerful meaning for the memorial: the six million Jews killed in the Holocaust; the six main concentration camps; and the six years during which the "Final Solution" took place.
