Structural Icon

The John Hancock Tower in Boston is an achievement in minimalist, modernist skyscraper design. The tall, narrow glass structure is the tallest building in Boston (and in all of New England). Climbing 60 stories into the atmosphere, the John Hancock Tower is an iconic part of the Boston skyline.

There used to be an observation deck at the tower, but it closed following the 9/11 attacks and never reopened. A walk-by of the tower is more than enough to realize its beauty and structural achievement.
