Chocolate Revolution

While a lot of Boston's tourism is focused on the American Revolution and the beginning of the United States, it is important to experience the sweeter side of the revolution as well. Captain Jackson's Historic Chocolate Shop allows you to experience 18th-century chocolate as it was enjoyed by Boston's famous patriots.

The shop features workers adorned in colonial attire, who discuss the way that chocolate was made and consumed in the 1700s. You can learn a little about the history of Boston and a lot about the history of chocolate. It is also a pretty tasty place to explore.
