Private Research University in Beacon Hill

This private research university in downtown Boston is the eighth largest university in the city well known as a college town. Initially founded as a law school in 1906, the university is made up of the Suffolk University Law School, the College of Arts & Sciences, and the Sawyer Business School.

The main campus in Boston sits on Beacon Hill near the Massachusetts State House and Supreme Judicial Court. Fitting, since it had its beginnings as a law school. The campus is made up of a combination of older and more modern buildings with a contemporary theater and residences built within the last two decades.
