Encounters with Seafaring History

When you hear stories about the impressive military collection of ships in Baltimore Harbour, believe them. This is a gathering like no other, of four historic military ships that date from the Victorian era right up until the mid-1980s.

Visitors can tour each ship individually, as they are moored within easy walking distance of each other in the Inner Harbor. They include a sloop of war, a submarine, a cutter, and a lightship, all preserved and renovated to reflect the customs of their time. Last but not least is a vintage Seven Foot Knoll lighthouse, the only one of its kind left in the Chesapeake region.
