Situated in an older building listed as a historic landmark, Freedmen's is the place to go for mixed drinks, American cuisine, and BBQ. All of the food is made using as many local ingredients as possible. Outdoor seating is available, too.
The building began as a community home for "freed men" in the 1800s, which is why it is called "Freedmen's." Today, it is simply a bar offering delicious cocktails, cold beer, and a wall of whiskey.
