Historic Sculptural Museum

The Elisabet Ney Museum is the former studio of the noted 19th sculptress Elisabet Ney. The sculptress purchased property in Austin back in 1892 and turned it into a studio where she painstakingly crafted sculptures of important and notable personalities of the era.

After her death, the studio was preserved as a museum to showcase the talents of the former sculptress. Since that time, the museum has evolved to provide a range of educational programs and workshops, an array of art exhibits, and plenty of special events and lectures held throughout each year.
