Founded by Coretta Scott King in 1968, the Martin Luther King. Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change honors the legacy of both Dr. and Mrs. King as well as those around the world who continue to embody their commitment to equality and social justice through peaceful advocacy. The King Center presents exhibits about the Kings' life and work as well as displays about Rosa Parks and Mahatma Gandhi. The tombs of Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King also grace the site, so you can pay your tribute to these great civil-rights leaders and American heroes directly.
