This Queen Anne style home, which dates from 1888 and functioned as a private residence until 1969, is one of many museums and historic buildings overseen by the Aspen Historical Society. If you visit during the summer, your admission ticket is also good for the Holden/Marolt Museum. The home was built in the 19th century but was only lived in as a full-time residence from 1905. The house itself is an excellent example of period design and architecture, and within the halls and rooms are several exhibits featuring objects from Aspen's history.
