Majlis Ghorfat Um Al Sheif is popularly visited for its representation of an era. The home dates to the 1950s when the oil money had not yet transformed the look and style of the city. The home belonged to Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum and was a favorite summer residence for him.
