Arguably the best desert cycling track in the world, this well-maintained path offers cycling enthusiasts a great way to watch the kilometres and the desert landscape fly by. It's safe from cars, fun, peaceful, scenic and healthy. And yes, cycles can be hired.
While the first 18km is a straight run parallel to the Al Qudra road, the second 50km track loops past scenic sand dunes and the well-known Bab Al Shams hotel, a welcome stop for hungry bikers!
Great for a family adventure or a hard-core pedalling experience, the Al Qudra Cycling Path begs to be explored. So dress appropriately, carry plenty of water, make sure you're on the track early morning, evening or in winter - and give yourself a treat.
