Aquarium-Side Dining

Referred to in Arabic as "the Oyster Shelf," Al Mahara is a genuinely unique restaurant with its floor-to-ceiling aquarium. Part of the Jumeirah family of upscale restaurants, Al Mahara is world-famous for both its setting and its cuisine.

Although children under ten are only welcome for lunch, Al Mahara is popular with families during the day. In the evening, however, it becomes a romantic haven for guests who want to enjoy mouthwatering creations like foie gras ravioli and langoustine rissole. The dark brown sugar shortbread is one of the restaurant's more beloved desserts and a definite must-try.
