18th Century Chinoiserie

The Chinese Pavilion at Drottningholm has magnificent paintings and is rich in history. Located on the grounds of Drottningholm Palace park, the building was completed in 1769. The Chinese-inspired rococo architecture nestled in Stockholm is breathtaking. There are two buildings and a Chinese pagoda.

Take a lovely mid-afternoon guided boat ride to the park. Also located nearby the Pavilion are Drottningholm Castle and Theatre. Walk the beautiful grounds of the Pavilion for a day of sun and fabulous views of Chinoiserie from the 18th century. Enjoy a waffle lunch at the Chinese Pavilion Kitchen and a relaxing boat ride back to your quarters.
