Plaza de la Reina is a town square and major social gathering hub for Valencia. Centered in Old Town, it's one of the oldest plazas in Valencia and still one of the most popular.
The plaza is not your standard shopping square designed with tourists in mind. It's been part of the city for hundreds of years and has grown with local needs and use in mind rather than with attracting tourist dollars as the emphasis. Visitors will likely enjoy the historic sights, however, such as the Valencia Cathedral and the Plaza Santa Catalina.
