Mood Food, formerly known as Banyan, is a tiny space, and we mean tiny. With only a few small tables and a bar, the owner is often the only person on staff: cooking, mixing, pouring, and serving. But that’s okay, because this intimate venue isn’t the place to rush. It may be a small space, but the menu offers huge flavors with local ingredients blended together in exotic ways. Enjoy seared scallops with wasabi sauce and the popular Kobe beef burger, plus a variety of grilled meats and seafood. Understandably, booking ahead is recommended, and a must for larger parties.
