Legendary for being a hangout of Hemingway, La Pepica has a lot of history as evidenced by the many photos of famous visitors that adorn its entrance. Most visitors come first for the history, and secondly because of their good selection of seafood, fish, and many styles of paella – such as the arroz negro (rice, fish, peeled shrimp and small squids cooked in squid ink).
