This truly unique restaurant, or "BioCocina", is on a mission to wow your taste buds with local, fresh ingredients. Yelel, the young chef and owner, manages a farm where he cultivates many of the ingredients used in the restaurant from germination all the way to cooking. Of mixed Spanish and Italian heritage, he grew up near Valencia, worked in London and Panama, and came back home to start the restaurant. The ever-changing menu reflects the availability of ingredients, but always experiments with new ways to experience food. Enjoy items like the catch of the day with green tea noodles and seaweed; salad with 25 types of leaves, berries, and flowers; chicken and artichoke risotto; and pumpkin wantons. The multi-course tasting menus are highly recommended. You can, and should, make reservations through the website.
