Alma del Temple is an upscale restaurant located in a five-star hotel and is a popular place for special occasion dinners. The restaurant is new, but its surroundings aren't; the sleek, minimalist furnishings are set among carefully restored 2,000-year-old ruins. The menu is modern Mediterranean, taking inspiration from Spain, Italy, and France and creating something traditional but fresh, with dishes ranging from the classic Iberian ham to the more unique octopus green risotto. More than eighty wines have been painstakingly selected for cellar, but if cocktails are more your thing, there's a full bar as well. The weekly menu, three courses, is a steal at 19 euro. In addition to the seating in the dining area, there's a lounge by the bar and an outdoor terrace. Reservations are highly recommended.
